I have now belonging into a Rotary Club called “Verkkorotary” eClub for more than a year. They have now jumped into a new site structure using web 2.0 technology leaving behind MS Sharepoint. It is remarkable to see that software originated within different soil is usable for different purposes. MS Sharepoint is very much usable within projectoriented corporations but not so much usable within the voluntary and freetime activities like the Rotarian activity is. The social web 2.0 technology have been born with that idea as a principle therefore this new site will be serving the Verkkorotary eClub needs better. Let’s make a revolution within the use of this new technology for the benefit of all the Rotarians all over the world !
